Callie has been the most wonderful companion over the years. She is the love of my son's life. She is the only one I've ever had that liked to sleep under the covers in winter. She stands over me and stares until I lift the covers. Then she tunnels down to the middle and sleeps there. One morning I let the young girls in after their morning romp and they jumped on the bed. They couldn't understand what that big growling lump was in the middle of the bed. The expressions on their faces were priceless. Callie is totally deaf now but in great health for an old lady. We hope to have many more years with her.
