E-Leet Boxers is a
registered kennel whose bloodline begins in 1944 though
Treceder Boxers. We began in 1998 working with Ann Harr to
revive the Treceder bloodline. This was necessary because Ann
had taken a leave from breeding the Treceder Boxer for about 8
years. After a year of extensive research we were able to
locate the descendant of Champion Treceder's All That Jazz,
through sheer luck, because at the same time Gaye Cotta was
searching for Ann Harr to learn more about the Treceder
bloodline that her boxer, "Zak" Ch. Bar Row's Jazzy
Revelation, had. As Ann says, "All
things happen for a reason". Through Gaye we were able to
obtain our foundation bitches.
We were legally established as directors of
Treceder Kennel Reg., which was to be at our location for a
period of 5 years. Ann Harr and her lawyer filed the legal
papers for this action through AKC. There were many factors
involved in the affirmation of this decision by Ann. The 25
year familial relationship I had with Jack, Ann and their only
daughter Judy was just one of those. I spent many nights
playing cards with Jack and Ann while Judy looked on engaging
us in long "family" conversation and banter. These talks
facilitated my entrance into the breeding part of the Boxer
World because they enabled Ann to see my earnestness with
Treceder Boxers.
After 5 years we branched out on our own with
established Treceder bloodlines.
We named our kennel to reflect the type of bloodline that
Treceder's have.

After
God and family, I only have 2 loves in my life: Boxers and
Harleys. Harleys lost out. I love our children, but they can
be Yo-Yo's. I've got my senior citizen card and although my
wife loves the 10% discount I could do without it. I don't
need nor want the attention. I'd pay the 10 % not to show my
ID. Does that tell how long I've been around boxers?
In 1962, in St. Joseph, Mo. I met a boxer named Toby.
His owner, who was retired from the U.S. Army, had worked with
Toby in the military, as Toby was a military trained canine.
Despite his military clearance or maybe because of it, Toby
strayed five houses to work with my brother on his paper
route. Although, it was not a top secret route containing
sensitive documents Toby still seemed to feel that my brother
needed protection from an unknown enemy. Made no difference
to him about the weather, Toby was a true comrade. What a
little love to a boxer means.
They know if you care, so don't be fooled. They
are testing to see how smart you are. I never had two boxers
alike. Never will be.
During my 9 years in the U.S. Army, when I could
find information on boxers I would read what ever I found.
This included information on kennels and confirmation.
Treceder was one that I was impressed with.
My parents always had a boxer or two around, but
Toby had made the impression. In Oct. 1975, I moved from
Kansas City, Mo. to Houston, Tx., and bought two brindle
females , one was flashy, from Ann Harr. She became a big
part of my family of boxers. Who was she? That my friends
was Ch. Treceder's Liberty Bell (Libby). Libby had a litter
of 3. She was then sold overseas. My buddy "Star" had a
litter of six, all of them pets.
After a long separation my then wife and I tried to
work things out. A condition being I had to sign the girls
back over to Treceder Kennels. So, in 1980, to my heartbreak,
I gave up my dogs and my Harleys. The marriage ended anyway.
I was back to being a single parent.
This is where Gwen, with 2 children of her own,
came in. Here we are years later, no Harley, yet!! I do have
boxers back in my life. I have grandkids too! Do they replace
the Harleys? No Way!!!!

Never
in my life had I ever seen or heard of boxers. Then I met
Butch and that is all I heard. We were married in October of
1982 and went to St. Joseph, Mo. for Thanksgiving to meet his
parents. Well true enough they had this big bitch named
Wendy. Oh my gosh did she ever scare me. She was gentle and
loving and patient with me, but she just couldn't win me over.
(What a nervous Nellie I was). Still my in-laws and my
husband tried to show me the error of my ways. Unfortunately,
it was many years before I could appreciate the boxer.
In 1996 the last of our children and "guest" had
moved out and we were alone at last. Then I saw Gabe, a
beautiful flashy fawn 6 week old puppy. That was
it...Father's day gift. HA! HA! He stole my heart and still
has it. This opened up a whole new world of love, beauty and
tenderness I had never seen in dogs. That same year, with all
the new feelings and wonder that only a boxer can bring Gaye
brought us Treceder's First Lady "Jackie". What a surprise,
new personality, temperament and love. Now Butch had his
Father's Day present!!!! But wait how about an addition?
February comes along and Gaye calls about a new Treceder
litter, well we have room for one more, OK, two more.
Then a long trip to El Paso, Texas to meet Gaye (this
was the half way point for both of us) & pick up our new
babies. Treceder's Treasure Chest (Tallie) and Treceder's
Queen Annabelle (Annie, named for Ann Harr). What a trip!!!
They were so good and just beautiful. We were on our way to
showing. At the July show in the Astrohall in Houston, Texas,
Annie made her first entrance. She loved it and we were in
heaven, the show bug was in all of us.
It has been a roller-coaster ride. But well
worth it....
