"Millee"
In June of 2010 a breeding between our sweet girl Treasure (CH Maxlan
Breho Treasure Hunter) & hot & sexy Auggie ( CH Illyrian's Trilogy)
took place.....from this joint effort breeding between June
Sutherlin, DVM PhD, Terri Galle, myself & LOTS of help from Lori
McClain & Gail Kloecker, we had a "long distance" chilled semen
breeding. From this litter we chose to keep 2 pretty little flashy
fawn prissy girls. "Millee" was to come & live with me & go out into
the world first with Terri. "Mina", stayed with June. Fortuity
Breho Hidden Treasure, was named because she was the one delivered
by C-section after Millee & her 2 brothers managed to get out on
their own. June choose Mina because she said Millee was the "bad"
one...& that Mina was calmer & sweeter...BOY was SHE confused....LOL.
I don't think there has ever been a sweeter easier puppy than our
girl Millee....At first I THOUGHT she was a bit submissive & that the
show grounds & ring might scare her. Well, that was MY mistake...she
loved it! When we first went to Ft Worth to show at the Dallas Boxer
Specialty in the 6-9 class, she thought everyone there had come just
to see her...I think she surprised Terri when she was so good. I
KNOW she surprised me. She won Grand Sweepstakes( & several great
toys!) that day & Reserve to the major the next 2 days. She had just
turned 7 months old that same week. After that weekend she never
looked back. Millee finished with 4 majors at 9 months old with back
to back 4 point majors at Baytown K.C. & Beaumont K.C. with BOW from
the Bred By Class, a trip to ABC where she won her Futurity 6-9 Fawn
bitch class & Reserve Futurity puppy & also won her 6-9 regular ABC
6-9 class, then on to Tulsa for 2 more back to back majors where she
was BOW at the Boxer Club of Oklahoma Specialty & Seminole K.C. The
next three days she was bumped up to Breed & she earned Select points
towards her Grand Championship. What a good little girl she is! I
can't wait until she stays home a while!
At a little over 9 months old,
Millee was entered for her very first time as a Special at the Kennel
Club
of Texarkana. On this first venture she won Best of Breed, Group
1st & BEST IN SHOW! What a huge thrill for all of us and especially
Terri as this was her Bred By Exhibitor Champion & her first Best in
Show with her own Bred By Exhibitor champion from the forth
generation of her bitch line...As far as any one can tell us (& we
have had some very helpful people checking out the statistics!)
we believe that Millee, at 9 months old, is the YOUNGEST Boxer in
the history of the breed to win an All Breed Best in Show!
At 10 months old, she was the youngest one in the history of the
breed to finish her Grand Championship at that time. She received
her Bronze Level Grand Championship at 15 months old.
My love & thanks to June for giving her such a great start in life &
to Terri for believing that she was hot stuff when I thought she was
just my baby girl. Geaux Millee!!!!!! |
