Setting them free, even when you know it is for the best, is still  close to impossible. For this vibrant beautiful creature who clung 
to life & played like there was no tomorrow, it was extra hard & I put it off longer than I should, not for her, but for me to try to 
reconcile how boring my life would become without this presence in it. From the very start, she barked at me to let her out...she 
barked at me to let her in...she barked at me to throw the Jolly ball, she barked at me for a treat & for her meals...she barked at me 
when I talked on the phone because she was not the center of my attention & of my world at the moment. She had no time for boring 
things...she had more energy in one toe than all the rest have combined....she NEVER stopped playing no matter how ill she 
became...there was always time for one more run with her Jolly ball....Now she can run free & never feel pain......I will listen in the wind 
for the sounds of her barking orders at Hallee & the ones that managed to get over the bridge before she tackled them...she will 
have her first Jolly ball hanging from her mouth by it's rope, as it is buried with her....
She was way too young to have been through all she has been through, & yet to look at her even on this, her last day, she was beautiful & 
happy to go for a ride, & wagged her tail at the kind man at the emergency clinic that took her pain away...
God speed to you my oh so special little girl...You could never ever know how much I loved you....your sweet side binding me to you so 
that the heathen side never really mattered at all.....run across & wait for me...I will be there soon & throw the ball for you again....
